The Creator
Ari Lazer is the visionary interdisciplinary artist living and working in Salt Spring Island, BC. Inspired by the elegance of nature, Lazer has focused his practice on a modern exploration of the classical Quadrivium - the study of harmonic relationships in geometry, numbers, music and cosmology.
In his work leading the Sacred Light Design Co. he is inspired to bring the exploration of geometric patterns in wood, into a contemporary design context – creating fine art, lighting, and custom installations for homes and businesses.
Lazer has held his practice as an interdisciplinary artist, creating large public installations, arts events, theatre and commission work since 2008. He holds a degree in interdisciplinary studies from the University of British Columbia, and is currently pursuing a degree in Architecture from the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
